Hello, I’m Liv Larsen. Artist based in Bozeman, Montana.

I bring nature to the canvas, to your home and interior spaces. I have been inspired by the natural world, since a very young age, growing up in the wooded areas of North Shore, Massachusetts. After years on the East Coast, West Coast and the Pacific Northwest, I finally found Bozeman as my place to call home. Montana has served as pivitol inspiration for my current work, as the mountains, nature and wildlife are reminiscent of my Norwegian heritage. I love exploring texture of birch trees, organic qualities to my abstracts, and capturing soul within wildlife. My calling is to merge my creative process with my love for the outdoors, and to share this with others, filling their interior spaces with the wonder of nature.

When I’m not painting, I’m enjoying the awesome wild ride of motherhood and family life. I also currently work in the mental health field as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I love hiking, hula hooping, cooking, self care, salsa dancing, movies and movie scores, going for walks, and listening to audio books for my monthly book club. I’ve recently taken up my life-long dream of gardening, and started to dabble in piano after a 20 year hiatus.
